A Good Year for
‘Bad Reception’.
At the start of 2009 ‘Dante’s Criterion’, was just another independent feature film trying to get noticed by distributors. But as so often happens in the film business, things were about to change.
Then in February came the news that the movie and it’s director Mark A. Todd had won a Golden Ace Award at the 2009
Las Vegas International Film Festival.
Shortly after, discussions with Hollywood distributor Catch 22 Entertainment saw the film with a distribution deal on the table.
November saw the film, which was now titled
Bad Reception being exhibited at the AFM in Santa Monica, California.

Look out in 2010.
The actual DVD release date for Bad Reception is not yet finalized. The DVD will feature ‘the making of’ and some cast & crew interviews as well as some additional extras which will be especially interesting to new filmmakers.
Work has also begun on a soundtrack of the music used in the movie, featuring music by artists such as: Killola, Gayle Day, Roger Smith (score) Theo Caesar and Lee Whittaker.
